Medically guided, individually built, confidently human.
Science-backed, compassionate medical weight management and body contouring, tailored to your health history.
Weight is a medical conversation, not a willpower one. A medical conversation, not a willpower one.
Obesity is a chronic, relapsing disease, not a personal failing or a lack of discipline. Complex physiological, metabolic, hormonal and genetic factors govern how the body regulates energy and stores weight.
When it is approached as a medical condition rather than a temporary lifestyle trial, sustainable metabolic health becomes achievable. Our care model looks at the biology behind weight, moving past restrictive diets toward comprehensive, long-term wellness.
Understanding obesityFive foundations of whole-person care.
Our medically guided approach brings five pillars together, so your plan treats the whole person, not only the number on the scale.
- 01 Medical interventions Individualized clinical care, including GLP-1 medications, phentermine and peptide therapies when appropriate.
- 02 Nutrition therapy Sustainable, personalized eating strategies built for everyday life, prioritizing nourishment over restriction.
- 03 Physical activity & movement Movement plans matched to your current fitness level, joints and schedule.
- 04 Behavioral & emotional health Support for habits, mindset and emotional health, for a lasting relationship with your wellness.
- 05 Sleep & recovery Restorative sleep and stress strategies that support hormonal and metabolic regulation.
Care that fits you, not a protocol.

Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. Your first visit is a complimentary, no-obligation 15-minute consultation. We talk through your goals and history, explain the five pillars of care, and outline the options that may fit you, with no pressure to start anything.
Do you take insurance?
No. LUX is a cash-pay practice, which keeps pricing simple and transparent. We offer incentivized cash pricing and flexible financing through CareCredit. Your options are explained before any treatment begins.
Who prescribes and monitors my treatment?
Nicole Crivello, MSN, APNP, FNP-C, an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber, personally evaluates, prescribes and monitors every medical treatment plan at LUX.
Am I a candidate for GLP-1 medication?
That is decided at your medical evaluation. Candidacy depends on your health history, current medications, lab work and goals. Prescription medications are not appropriate for everyone, and some people are better served by nutrition, movement and behavioral support. We will tell you honestly which path fits.
